Since launching in London in 2025, Microdot have established themselves as one of the UK's leading post production studios. Their work has appeared at Sundance and Stockholm International Film Festivals, streams on Netflix, and runs in culture-shaping campaigns for Maison Margiela, Nothing and Nike. The team — founded by Adam Clarke, Mikey Smith and Zdravko Stoitchkov — are cinephiles, avant garde artists and technical experts in equal measure — allowing them to push the boundaries of reality in the work they create.
The duality within Microdot—experimental and exacting—shaped our work together across brand identity, digital experience and creative development. Microdot operate with pixel-level detail, understanding that profound work demands precision — anything less shatters the illusion. We articulated this idea as "Rendering Imagination", a literal and aspirational reflection of the business.
The brand draws on the details and minutiae of cinema: end credits and light-leaks, slitscans and scrubbers, edge codes and timecodes. The whole identity is built from the language of film. The site design and build follows suit — cinematic case studies, darkroom treatments, dynamic titling and elegant micro-interactions combine to create something immersive and idiosyncratic without overshadowing Microdot's work or compromising performance.
The result is a brand and experience as cinematic and surreal as the work it represents.
