With over 100 employees in six locations, DevRev had been operating in stealth mode for a year. When it received $50m USD in seed funding, the company approached us to help create its brand and beta website as it was gearing up to the beta launch of the product.
DevRev had a strong vision of what it wanted to be, but needed help communicating that vision to a wide audience and presenting itself as the future it represents.
Strategically, there were some problems to solve. In a saturated market, we needed to communicate the value, benefits and uses of this multi-faceted platform with clarity and simplicity. Creating a category rather than being pigeon-holed into one was paramount, as was the strong connection between product and marketing.
Through a collaborative strategy phase we uncovered customer, competitor and industry insights, and DevRev’s unique position. We avoided the category’s obsession with juvenile trends and focused on its unique ability to deliver insight, purpose and power to developers and customers alike.
